There is an apple tree in my backgarden. This is my first summer in the house, and so the first time I’ve seen apples growing on this tree. This weekend, in another first, I used some of the crop to make an apple crumble and two jars of apple chutney (onion, coriander, paprika, vinegar, sugar). The crumble tasted great; the chutney will be sampled later in the week on a cheese Cyprus.
This has given me an enormous sense of wellbeing.
