FridayNightTakeout. Like the M&S/Waitrose Friday Night Meal Deal, but independent and local. Sample menus: poached guinea fowl with winter vegetables and puy lentils; gnocchetti pasta, chick peas in tomato sauce with greens and ricotta; daube of venison, pink fir potatoes and winter greens.

Ingredients sourced locally, prepped by a pro chef working freelance, delivered fresh within a tight neighbourhood.

Beyond cakes and cocktails, would the idea transfer to art/music/photography/fashion commissions?
