Up Shit Creek

Travel-Paddle-copyThursday is rowing machine day. I am three weeks into a challenge to get to 2,500m in 10 minutes (on the hardest level). Week 1: 2,474m. Week 2: 2,464m. Week 3: 2,426m. I am sat still, going backwards.

My colleague Ciaran has got to 2,540m. He’s doing <35 strokes/minute, I’m doing >40. He’s 5.8, I’m 6.1. Something is clearly wrong with my technique, and I’m buggered if I know what it is.

Having studied here and here, I’m going to try and stick to this guidance. More next week.
