Given the right number of connections, LinkedIn Maps makes for a lovely image, and certainly helps the site pull in more user information. Just not sure how useful it is for one’s profile.
Would like to see a graphic representation of the worth of your connections – not just how many, or how high-flying, but how strong the connection. Could you get these people on the phone at 2am, who could you call on for Harvard Business Review-style expertise, whose children are you godfather to?
There’s not enough editorial hierarchy. If LinkedIn acts, in part, as an individual’s Chamber of Commerce, or Masonic Lodge, an Issuu-based online magazine, updated live, might work.
